You will speak during the whole period of classes with local people when travelling with BrasilRN in an authentic and creative way.
Our 5 day classes are intensive;
20hrs per week – 4hrs per day.
The classes are in 2 steps:
We will start each session using dynamic and productive techniques working on Portuguese theory in the class room, from use of didactic books, CD, videos, internet, TV, newspapers, reviews etc...
Later on in the day, we will put you in real life situations, in town, visiting the beach, an art place, park, artist's wokshop, museum, art and crafts centre,and we will also get you to taste the local gastronomy in restaurants or markets.
The goal is to live and travel in Portuguese
The choice of locations for the practical part of the classes will be decided with the group on the first day of classes. Our goal is to get you to travel in Brazilian Portuguese. You will be surprised how quickly you learn thanks to the contact and general everyday living.
During the classes, the participants will interact giving them confidence to tackle real life situations outside of the classes , due to the communicative method which covers the four skills (talking, writing, listening and reading) centred on the students and respecting their limits and preferences.
Evaluation and certificate
There is continual evaluation, in so far as you attain your daily objectives. A certificate will be given out at the end of the course.
Practical Information - Included in the classes
• Classes in the morning from 9am to 11am, 1st day, Monday from 9am to 1pm.
• 6 students maximum, minimum age 18.
• Real life situations and guided visits (4x2hr excursions).
• All material is included(book with CD).
• Welcome breakfast.
• Putting together a log. CD of class photos.
• Certificate.
Other options
In addition to the « Portuguese Express » classes, you can choose private reinforcement classes, preparation for exam classes and also Portuguese specialised in a particular field. All this will held you to perfect your language learning.
