Beaches of center - Marina of Natal (Blocked project)

The Marina will be built in Natql, on a surface given up by the municipality, in regime of concession, localized on the left margin of the river Potengi, next to the Fortress of the Rois-mages.

The project is of the group espanhol BCM Ingenieros S.L. with an investment of R$ 90 millions, of which R$ 45 millions (15 million euro) in a first stage.
The delay of construction is of 2 years, from the obtaining of all the administrative authorizations. The marina will have 400 attach points and special platforms for the big yachts, with a capacity of 500 boats. Ground side, the project plans) the construction of city park, botanical garden, zone of shipyard, control tower, customs post and commercial area with restaurants and shops of crafts. All this structure will be opened to the public.
The Spanish group will have in the obligation also, to build a park of preservation ambiantal on the busy surface. The project of construction of Marina in already officialized with the signature of a protocol of intentions between the group and the mayor of Natal, Carlos Eduardo Alves.
