Fernando de Noronha, declared as a world heritage by Unesco, is an archipelago of 21 islands. Offshore to the east of Rio Grande do Norte State, it is situated at 360 km away from Natal, which is the closest city where the flights are taken.

The islands have a preserved nature with volcanic rocks surrounded by
magnificent beaches that can be observed during the walks.
International standard diving
Fernando de Noronha has warm water year-round and you can do
snorkeling, scuba diving, or visit its unique seafloor at 30 to 40 meters of depth.
National park
The majority of the archipelago has been declared as national park and some species like the spinner dolphins are protected and they can be found at the Baia dos Golfinhos (Dolphins Bay).
There are projects of protection for the 230 species of fish, 15 different types of coral, sharks, dolphins and turtles. There is an environment preservation fee for each day spent on the island.
Fernando de Noronha has a small airport and a great variety of pousadas. Serveral beaches of the island have ideal calm water for the bathe and the diving with a visibility of 50 meters.
