The village and the beach of Galinhos, situated at the end of a peninsula, offers to the visitors an unforgettable spectacle due to its peaceful atmosphere and its natural beauty.
The beach, the name of which makes reference to the local fish 'Peixe-Galo', is formed by a wide sand strip, ending in calm and little deep sea.
These characteristics made the place become very quickly a Kite Surf and Windsurfing spotlight, just like its neighbor São Miguel do Gostoso. (See column).
The road RN402 finishes exactly on the parking, where you will leave your car and pick a boat to Galinhos. Galinhos is small. You can visit it by walking, but the nicest thing is to take a chariot, which is the local cab (taxi), pulled by a donkey.
This isolated piece of paradise has conserved its originality. The quietness between sea and river, the spectacular sunsets on the ocean, confers to it a strength loaded with good energies and reinforced by the sensation to be on an island.
You can't miss the boat trip in the dune sans 'Salinas' of Galos.
Municipality : Galinhos Distance from Natal : 174 km
