Galos village is surrounded by a rich ecosystem of mangrove swamps on the peninsula internal side and with a long beach on the ocean side.
The boat trip proposed in Galos and Galinhos must be done. The boat is going to navigate in the arms of the sea between dunes, salt works and ponds of shrimps. Inevitable spectacle, which allows to discover and to appreciate the protected nature of the region.
If you navigate with local fishermen, perhaps you will see a flying fish spectacle.
All the region between Galos and Areia Branca is a big producer of salt, it supplies 90% of the Brazilian sea salt. If you taste the water inside of the peninsula, you will notice its strong salt content.
