Touristical places > Région Pipa and Tibau > Baía Formosa

Fishermen's Baia Formosa village is situated on the top of a cliff which dominates the bay and the port, and from where you can perceive frequently the spectacle of dolphins groups.

All the region around the city is rich in natural beauties, high cliffs, magnificent bay, long beaches lined with dunes and with coconut palms.

The village is an excellent option for the lovers of nature and tranquility. The spectacle of the sunset on the bay and on fishermen's boats is unforgettable.

The main activity of the village is the fishing, and the exploitation of sugar cane. The local handcraft is made more frequently by the women, and is based on tissue bags, or bed blankets made by pieces of tissue.
