Caraúbas is a very pleasent beach that deserves a stop in order to bathe in its beautiful tranquil waters.
The village has not lost its peacefulness and it still has the characteristics of a fishermen's village with strong religious beliefs (See the calendar of festivities).
Only during the summer time this peaceful and charming place becomes more bustled.
The south side of the beach is ornated by beautiful cliffs which form a magnificent landscape which you can admire and bathe in pools formed by the corals.
The road southward goes along these cliffs and offers very beautiful points of view of the coast and of vast extensions of coconut palms.
