The 'Newton Navarro' bridge, of an impressive architectural beauty, is the biggest engineering work built in the state. It is also known under the name of 'Bridge of Everybody' or 'Bridge Forte-Redinha'. Its name immortalize the local artist ‘Newton Navarro'.

The bridge connects above 'Rio Potengi', two neighborhoods: Santos Reis, where is located the fortress, and the Redinha Beach, on the other riverside.

It shall allow a fast economic and real-estate development of Redinha and many districts on the northern side of the city.

It shall bring a strong growth to the tourism towards the Northern Natal beaches, especially if it is set up in the future a real road structure.

It was inaugurated on November 21st, 2007, anniversary of the Natal Saint Patron 'Nossa Senhora da Apresentação'.
