In the corner of south America - Circuits 7-8 (10 days with international flights)
This circuit has a 7 or 8 days duration in order to make you know the state of the Rio Grande do Norte in the corner of South America with its 3 contrasted coastal regions:
. Regions of Natal and Pipa in the south of the state, with the wet tropical climate and vegetation of mangroves, Mata Atlantica, beaches of coconuts, villages of fishermen, productions of shrimps and sugarcane fields.
. Region of Natal north, east coast with a drier climate, windy and is with large dunes separated by fishermen villages of lobster and large variety of fish
. Littoral north of the state, with a dry tropical climate and a vegetation of caatinga, dunes, great sand beaches and its insolated villages at the end of hism.
Details of the circuit
You'll arrive in Natal, in the morning or the evening before, in this case transport to your hotel/pousada at Ponta Negra to have a night of rest. Possibility of diner with local specialities.
day 1 - Beach then visit of Natal
After breakfast, you'll be informed on the week's program. The morning will be spent on the beach at Ponta Negra, so as to recuperate from the journey. Lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the city.
In the afternoon, a city tour of Natal (fort, beaches, historic areas). View of the sunset on the Potengi river. Evening and night spent at Ponta Negra beach.
day 2 - South coast of Natal
Early morning, departure for the south with stops to see the launching base of missiles, the Pium tropical fruits market. Visit of the "caju" tree at Pirangi, the biggest fruit tree in the world with taste of local products. At Tabatinga, stop on the cliffs at the observatory of dolphins and sea bathe at the beach.
Visit of the interior region of 'Nisia Floresta' with its tropical vegetation, its lakes, it shrimps, its cachaça manufacture and its giant Baobab. Tipical lunch in a renovated train station.
Come back at Natal Native in the middle of the afternoon. Night in Natal or Genipabu.
day 3 - Buggy in the dunes of Genipabu
Course with a Buggy in the Genipabu and Jacumã dunes on the ocean front, feeling all the emotions and sensations of the space. Stops to rest, baths and to do sport on the 9 beaches and 3 lakes of the region. Night at Natal or Genipabu.
This day can be subtitute by a trip of 3 hours driving a quadricycle inside the tropical nature of 'Nisia Floresta', rest and beach the remainder of the day.
day 4 - Excursion on the northern coast of Natal
In this wilder coast, allows you to admire beautiful beaches of coconuts. On the way tasting of fruits. Stop at the São Roque cap, the point of south America nearest from Africa. Visit of the love tree, bathe on the deserted beach of Ponta Gorda and unspoilable view since cliffs of Caraùbas. Stop lunch of grills at the fishermen village of Maracajaú. Visit of Punau between sea, river, dunes and coconuts. Night at Maracajaú.
Options eco: Descent of river swimming in the middle of the vegetation. / Walk at the São Roque cap.
Options sports: Diving in Maracajaú. / Quadricycle entre Maracajaù and Punaù.

day 5 - Excursion on the peninsula of Galinhos
Departure the morning for Galinhos (140 kms) on the northern coast. The road crosses an area of sugarcane, rich in history with a stop at the market of Ceara-Mirim, typical city of the inside.
Lunch at the side of water before going for a boat trip in the arms of the sea of Galos, passing in front of salt dunes, with bathe in a transparent water in the middle of impressive sand dunes. Possible to cross the dunes by foot or buggy to join the sea. Evening and noite in Galinhos.
Option eco: Path 'de jegue' till the headlight to admire the sunset on the sea.

jour 6 - Road to the south - Pipa
Free morning on the beach and in the village. Lunch of fishes at Galinhos before the trip to the region of Pipa.
At the arrival on Pipa and 'Tibaù do sul', stops to admire the lagoon of Guaraíras and the sight, since high red cliffs of the splendid beaches of Pipa surrounded by tropical vegetation 'Mata Atlantica'.
Evening in the streets of Pipa and night in the pousada.
day 7 - Visit of Pipa region, its ecological park and its beaches
Morning excursion first in Pipa to see the 'Chapadão' cliffs and the wiew of the beach 'do amor'. Walk in the ecological reserve of Pipa 'mata atlantica' vegetation, protection of dolphins and tortoise project, then on the magnificent 'do madeiro' beach.
Leave to 'Barra de Cunhaú' with stop in the fields of sugar cane and 1 hour trip in a fishing boat with demonstration of fishing crab in the mangrove. Lunch of grilled lobsters, fishes and prawns in a places located in a dune between the ocean and river. In the afternoon, walk in the village to see the marvellous ponts of view. Night spent at Pipa or 'Barra de Cunhaú'.
Option of excursion in a buggy for several hours on the beaches of the magnificent region of 'Baia Formosa' and 'Sagi'. Visit of the big native vegetation park 'mata Estrela' and bathing in the amazing 'Coca Cola' lake.
For a stay of 7 days, return at Natal in end of afternoon for a transfer to the airport.
day 8 - Pipa and come back in Natal
Morning free to stay on the local beaches.
Option of transfer to the region of ‘Pedra da Boca’ (90 kms) to visit a parc of geological patrimony constituted by big rocky formations surrounded by tropical vegetation. Walk with a local guide who will explain with passion the flora and fauna of the place. Traditional meal prepared by the family of the guide.
Return to Natal in the middle of the afternoon. Transport to airport.
Possibility of additional day in Pipa (boat, quadricycle, kayak or horse)
