Via Costeira, s/n - Morro de Mãe Luíza
Inaugurated in 1951, it possesses a tower of 37 meters of height with 150 stairs in spirals. The lantern on the height of the tower works in electrical energy and its bundle reaches 44 km and emet every 12 seconds. In case of breakdown, its alternate system of gas, operates manually. Magnificent sight on the sea and the coast.
The lighthouse is administered by the 'Capitania dos Portos'
Opened to the visit of the public on Sundays.

The museum of the sacred art is situated in the left part of the church 'Igreja do Galo'. It is a separate attraction and contains pictures, paintings, sculptures and other objects 'barroques' of the period of XVII till XXth century.
Opened from Monday till Friday, from 8 am till 5 pm.
On Saturday from 8 am till 2 pm.
